We commissioned a series of events reinterpreting the Jewish holiday of Passover, making it relevant and contemporary and engaging new audiences.

The Passover Seder is a family meal that takes place over one or two nights at the beginning of the festival. It is filled with ritual, tradition and stories and is (conveniently) divided into sections that can be reinterpreted. Juliet worked with YaD Arts to create “The Other Seder”. Artists from various disciplines were commissioned to explore and re-imagine the different sections of the Seder. Over a five year period we commissioned artists and writers including Hofesh Shechter, Blind Summit, Oi Va Voi, Los Desterrados, Arnold Wesker, Eve Ensler, Amy Rosenthal and Ryan Craig were to create a new Passover experience. The Other Seder held up a twenty first century lens to tradition and ritual and drew crowds of all ages and backgrounds to the JCC for London.
